Several of our CVWS plein air painters enjoyed painting at Shumway Ranch by private invitation from Daniel Foster, Executive Director!
Shumway Ranch is located 15 minutes up the mountain on Highway 74 and provides a unique, inspiring Elfin Forest with dramatic piñon pines and magnificent views of Coachella Valley!
Over thirty paintings were completed and will be rotated monthly at the Rancho Mirage Library from December 1st through February 29th!
There is something for everyone at the Coachella Valley Watercolor Society. From the camaraderie of our general meetings to instruction from world class demonstrators to getting outside and doing some plein air painting to honing your skill set with our life drawing classes; we’re confident you’ll find just what you’re looking for.
