The season may be over for the summer but that doesn’t mean there isn’t plenty to paint.

Our New Program Chairman, Bob Hannah, presents a summer challenge for the October meeting centered around African animals. You can paint any animal, as long as it lives in Africa.

Put on your thinking caps and see what you can come up with.   While animals may not be your normal genre, this is a chance to stretch your painter’s legs and take a safari into uncharted territory.

Remember last year when the response to the Summer Challenge resulted in a stimulating program of sharing our summer endeavors?  We hope you’ll participate with that same enthusiasm again.

So bring your animal paintings or whatever else inspires you during the break in our CVWS season.  Just follow your creative spirit and surprise us in October.
