The Season kickoff meeting will feature this members' works created for this year's SUMMER CHALLENGE: Here are the two formats this year. Extra credit for doing both!
1. Paint a subject from an unusual viewpoint. Here is a great example: "Afternoon at the Ramos 2014" by Angela Chang.
2. Paint on a paper that you are not experienced with, or have never tried before. You could try hot press or rough watercolor paper, or maybe a watercolor canvas. See how the paint moves around
differently. You might find a new love!
We will "Show and Tell" our paintings at the October meeting. Have some fun with these challenges! Feel free to bring more than one painting to share. The fun is to see what ideas you have come up with by trying something new! Come a bit early so we can organize the display.
Members can also bring examples of "What I Did This Summer" to share with everyone.
The Painter of the Month at this meeting will feature works by CVWS Board members.
See you on the 10th!
