2013 Summer Challenge

SUMMER CHALLENGE 2013

“Lit” by Bonnie Ruttan

Landscape by Sandy Sharp

The subject:  IMAGINED PAINTING

The challenge:  To paint something entirely from your head (imagination), with no reference material

Examples:  Paint a remembered scene from your childhood, an inspirational painting, or a painting full of dark moods and feelings.  If you start thinking about it, the ideas will come.

Bring them to our first meeting next season, October 14th.

Prizes will be given for:

  1. Most vivid imagination
  2. Most beautiful painting
  3. Weird but Wonderful

Our summer challenges have been a lot of fun and we have seen what we can do when “challenged” to come up with something outside our comfort zones.  So get that imagination working and come up with some great paintings for next season’s opening meeting.
